Dear Friends, It has been a rough week, as I have been battling a kidney infection, but am feeling much better today and rested for the next mission. We are planning to go to Manokotak, leaving on the 13th of October, where I will preach there for their third annual spiritual feast. There is more opposition, as this group of Moravians have become quite divided on some issues. Pray the Lord to give me a word for them from him and that unity amongst the brethren there can be restored. I will then, God willing, travel to the village of Togiak and then on to Aleknagik to preach and encourage the believers. They are praying earnestly that the Lord will rend the heavens and come down. I am believing the Lord for a harvest of souls and to make them effective in his kingdom work. I ask that you pray that I would be anointed by His Spirit to be enabled to boldly proclaim Christ.
Thank you for your praying for Melissa and the children as I travel and thank you for keeping me in your prayers on this next trip, as it will be challenging. Apart from Him, I can do nothing. "Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ." -- 2 Thess. 3:1-5
