Dear Friends, Holden Barry and I will be traveling to Dillingham, AK on Sunday the 21st. If our flights connect well we will minister at the Moravian Church that evening. We plan on visiting many I have ministered to in Naknek, King Salmon and South Naknek the following few days. After this we will spend all our time in Aleknagik. They are having a youth rally and expecting teens from all over to come to these meetings. Please also pray for Brian Henry and his family as we are with them. He is the native Pastor in Aleknagik and we desire to serve him and his family and encourage their hearts. We are in great need of your prayers and are looking forward to being used of Lord for His glory and purposes. Please keep our Wives and children in your prayers as we are away. Oh that He would meet with us in these days and pour out His Spirit upon us. Thank you, -Justin |

Dear Friends, Thank you for your prayers. It is with great joy that I report to you an update on the work of the Lord. Over the last month I have had the privilege of ministering in Alaska, North Carolina and Wyoming. Everywhere you go these days, there are people who are hungry for the things of God. We live in great days for sharing the absolute truth of God's word and His plan of redemption for mankind!

Dear Praying Friends, I wanted to send an update concerning many answered prayers from the Arctic field. I recently sent you a prayer request for Gary and Kelly a young couple living in Pilot Station who the Lord opened the door for sharing the good news with in September. The Lord has broken through mightily in Gary's life and he is meeting with Michael and Jerome and these three men are praying together and reading God's Word! Michael said there has been a huge transformation in their lives. What joy fills my soul to share this good news with you. We have many reports of continued fruit from the recent meetings in Togiak and Manakotak. The revival and awakening that is taking place in the remote villages is increasing and the scope seems to be growing much larger. There has been much opposition from some of the religious people. They have tried to stir up the people against the Holy Spirit. But it is of no use, as these people are experiencing God and would not trade the world and dead formalism for what they now have in God. One of them recently attacked me, and my dear friend Billy Olsen came to my defense in the power of the Holy Spirit and declared the truth to them. One of my friends took off to the village of Nunupichak to declare the Word of God and found the people hungry for God and ready for the truth. In many areas in the bush, men are starting men's meetings, father's hearts are being turned to their children, the elderly are finding the joy of the Lord is their strength, teens are meeting together to read, pray and worship the God of heaven and earth, children hear the good news with tears running down their faces and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is being lifted up with anticipation of His return and eternal life with Him here and forever! Please pray for our fellow brother Steven as he will head out to Pilot Station to encourage and exhort the new Church there December 2-13. He may also have the opportunity to travel to nearby villages to preach and teach as well. Pray that he will be used mightily to help lay the correct foundations for this body of believers that will be solid through the rest of the generations that the Lord allows. Lastly, I am very excited to inform you that this January we will have at least 2 and possibly 3 Eskimo men to be trained and mentored through our Ambassadors for Christ conference. I want to come beside these men and help them be mighty in the Word of God and in prayer. I know that they will be fed well under the teaching of the other Ambassadors preachers and then return home to teach what they learn. I will be traveling to Marietta, GA for the ministry council meetings and to meet on the future of training and equipping Eskimo leaders and Churches this December. In January I have been invited to attend a gathering of the many native leaders of Alaska. I look forward to seeing how we can serve them for Christ's sake. Thank you all for your partnership in this wonderful work and may the Lord send true revival and awakening to our lower 48 communities, and churches, cities and schools, and all people groups under this nation. O, that His name would be great again in America! Your brother, -Justin Vold

Dear prayer partners, The recent trip to the villages of Togiak and Manakotak were some of the most fruitful I have yet to see. I can say "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord, Hallelujah!" With Billy Olson and I traveling together, as well as being joined with other godly men, we witnessed to many about salvation and saw God work in the lives of many people. Although there was much opposition, there was still a real advancement of God's kingdom. I think of the verse that says ‘He sets the captives free'. This surely was the case the last 3 weeks and it is continuing. In Togiak we saw the oldest lady of the village, Ms. Annie Blue, completely healed of a crippled left arm. It is part of the Eskimo culture that the oldest person in the village is always looked to for wisdom and with great respect. So after word of her testimony circulated in the village, many people gathered to hear the Word of God. The Holy Spirit was poured out on these meetings and many were struck with conviction and then on to freedom and joy. We left Togiak and arrived in Manakotak, where we had the week before been seeing the same spiritual thirst and hunger for God. We had the privilege of sharing, encouraging, and praying with dozens of children, teens, adults and elders. The love of God was very present and His strength allowed us to minister late into the night and throughout the days. I am confident the Christian men of Togiak will be meeting together on a very regular basis as a result of the work that the Lord did in their hearts. I believe the Church in Manakotak is growing with the blessing of God upon her. Please pray for a group of men there who are strong traditionalists and who strongly oppose any meetings of this kind. I sat down with one of them, (a pastor) and he would not come to the meetings. I later went to his house to find him watching soap opera's and reading People magazine. At the same time claiming we were heretics. His main point of anger seemed to be the happiness everyone was experiencing, even among the young people. O, that he to could taste and see that the Lord is good! There are too many stories to tell, but please know the Lord was gracious to answer your prayers for these people of the ends of the earth. God is definitely at work in the Arctic and what a blessing for all of us to have been privileged to be a part of this. On Friday I will get my wisdom teeth out and hope that will help with my physical ailments. Melissa and the children are doing really well and healing up from the flu or a cold. Thank you for your fervent prayers on behalf of us and those we serve. To God be the glory, - Justin & Melissa Vold

Good reports are rolling in from Pilot Station, as the Lord has added to the number of believers there. There is much opposition and yet a growing hunger among the lost. A Russian Orthodox priest had a vision that someone was coming to their village to share and he was not to oppose them. He shared this with the Orthodox members that evening. The next night Michael Tinker was in the village and took a steam with some men. The same priest came in to take a steam as well and Michael had much freedom to share the gospel with him. After listening the priest said, "I knew you were coming, but I didn't know it was this soon." Michael told him about our preaching to the villages and the priest said, "Tell them to come and I am not to turn them away." I recently asked you to pray for some inquirers, Gary and Kelly, who are in need of your prayers, as the enemy of their souls has launched a severe attack against Gary. Kelly is doing great, reading the Bible daily for hours. But Gary is still addicted to pot and alcohol, as well as everything that comes with it. Surly we can see the power of the Lord change him. The rest of the folks I asked you to pray for are doing very well and are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Agatha (Michael's wife) said Michael has excelled since our time with him. I am very excited about them and their growing love for the Lord Jesus Christ. They are eagerly expecting to see brother Mack Tomlinson, as he is scheduled to be with them and preach in their village in December.
Praise the Lord for these testimonies of His grace and faithfulness!
