Testimony
I was born in 1970. When I was four years old God saved my parents, Michael and Linda Reece from a life of sin . The transformation truly was profound. A pastor friend of the family tells me to this day that in all of his years of ministry he has never seen a couple so radically changed as my Dad and my Mom. I am convinced of God's unconditional election and regeneration not only by scripture (Rom. 8:29, Eph 1:4, Jn 6:37) but also by experience. Looking back on my growing up years, I see a real inevitability to it all.
My brothers and I grew up in a home that I can only describe as a "gospel incubator". All of this was the grace of God at work on my behalf. I was reared, like Timothy (2 Tim. 1:5, 3:15), acquainted with the scriptures that made me wise for salvation.

Church Planter (Lozi People), Western Province, Zambia
We met Dominic in 2004, on our first trip to the village of Ilwendo along the banks of Zambezi River. At that time and in that specific area of Zambia, there was no faithful witness of the True Gospel. Yet, here was this man. Early on we could see there was something different about this man. We could see the hand of God on his life. There was a real need for someone to come alongside him with spiritual encouragement and theological training.
In recent days, Dominic has been meeting faithfully for Bible study with roughly twenty people in a nearby satellite village three days a week: Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. At the same time, Dom must keep up with his own farm work at home. There are fourteen children under his care in his village - he and his wife Concelia have seven of their own. The remaining children are orphans or children of his sister. Dom is also helping to improve the lives of those around him. He formed a business 'cooperative' with seven other young men in the area. They are raising additional crops for market and have started digging a pond in order to raise a type of fish called Brim.

Pastor, Berean Reformed Baptist Church in Chililabombwe, Zambia.
Emmanuel S. will stop receiving financial support from HeartCry after August 2009. He shall be moving to another town to pastor an established church that shall take on the biblical role of supporting him and his family, and will no longer require outside support.
Emmanuel is the pastor of Berean Reformed Baptist Church in Chililabombwe, Zambia. This is the third church plant in which he has been involved. Please pray for Emmanuel as he hopes to plant a church across the border in Democratic Republic of Congo.
