PETAUKE GRACE REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCH
FORTNIGHTLY PRAYER REQUEST

Glory and Honour be ascribed to the triune God for all the blessing rendered to me during the last fortnight. I began the fortnight attending a Pastor's conference which was organised by the Covenant College here in Petauke. The theme was "The Church as the Light of the World." Apart from attending, I was given time to share during the morning devotion and to facilitate in the evening during the question time. The conference lasted for five days from 27th July to 31st July. On Sunday I preached from Matthew 25:14-30 (the talents).

On Monday 3rd August, I received a call from Pastor German B. of Sinda Reformed Baptist Church requesting me to be the first speaker at their conference in place of Pastor D. of John Laing Baptist Church. The theme of the conference was "What is a Reformed Baptist?" I accepted. This conference was from 7th to 9th August. I had six Sessions for teaching, two Q&A sessions and three preaching sessions, which made eleven sessions in two and half days. The conference was an eye opener for me. The Lord helped, and many people attended all the sessions. Evening attendances was overwhelming.

PRAYER REQUEST

  • Thank God for using me during these conferences.
  • Pray that the Lord's will be done for my son William who is now receiving medical attention in Lusaka.
  • Pray for the Church that many would attend this year's family conference.
  • Continue praying for Church growth.
  • Pray for our programmes on Sunday.
